Beau Monde

Crepes, crepes, crepes. All kinds of fancy stuff put into a crepe. You can select your own ingredients a-la-carte or order their suggested combinations. The quality is good, but it is too expensive for what you get.

I got a yummy crepe with spinach, feta, black olives and tomatos that was delicious. After saying we couldn't eat another bite, a group of us devoured a dessert crepe with ice cream and warm apples. Good service and nice presentation.

I totally forgot about this restaurant until just now when i was browsing to see what rofix reviewed. Here's something crazy: i've eaten at Beau Monde about 5 times and i've never had the crepes! yup. that's right. I ALWAYS get the steak au poivre - i can't help it. A lovely cut of meat with smashed peppercorns in a brandy/cognac/wine buttery sauce. That steak with a chimay is heaven. plus, i think one of the waitresses wanted a threesome with me and my wife.

NOTE: i just checked the website and i don't see the steak listed on the menu. that's too bad. if you go look for the steak and let me know.
