Dalessandro's

Dalessandro's is to the Philadelphia Cheesesteak as Ray's or Lombardi's are to New York Pizza - or as Nathan's is to Hot Dogs. People come to Philadelphia and think they've tried a real cheesesteak from Pat's or Geno's complete wit' whiz. Of course, anything with cheez whiz usually tastes gross, so kudos to these fine establishments for making an edible product with it. However, I don't eat a sbarro's or pizza hut pizza or get boiled tasteless hot dogs from street vendors in New York and say "now this is the real deal." That'd be ludicrous. So to all who visit our great city, and especially to those who live within, please try a Dalessandro's cheesesteak wit' or wit'out because it has real cheese (american or provlone), shaved juicy meat, and an amoroso roll.
