Gia Pronto

Great coffee.

The guy who owns Gia Pronto is one smart dude. Of course Penn students need pricey grilled panini and organic, free range salads. What took someone so long? At an ideal location with a smart interior Gia Pronto is a well addition to the mess of fooderies on spruce st btwn. 37th and 38th. La Columbe coffee is, naturally, outstanding. Salads personalized and made to order are fresh. One can choose from almost 50 toppings. The panini are made with free-range chicken, preservative free meats (prosciutto, salami, ham, turkey) and/or organic vegetables. Finally, they are grilled. Some suggestions:

sandwich: buffalo chicken
salad: mixed mesclun greens, sunflower seeds, chickpeas, portobello mushrooms and free-range grilled chicken. soy-ginger vinaigrette.
